EVENTS: Salone 2024
From April 16-21 2024 Salone Milano, Fairground rho.
Plank-ton is represented with a whopping 6 brands in Milan. CTO lighting, Pedrali, Gandia Blasco, LZF lighting and RS Barcelona. In need of tickets? We will be on location the Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday we will be in the city to absorb Milan further.
Hall 6 B30 CTO is doing a colab this year with House of Rohl and focuses solely on bathroom lights IP44 rated.

SPOTLIGHt: RS Barcelona - YOU&ME
Post corona employers get more push back from employees, wanting to work more often remotely. Time spent in the office is viewed opun very differntly for both staff and their companies. Making the the trip to office a wortwile one is more important. Today it is more about re-connecting to the mothership (company), sensing the company culture and meeting colleagues. You and Me comes in three sizes: Standard, with the standard dimensions of a ping-pong table; Medium-220; and Small-180, suitable for tighter spaces. What’s more, our You and Me benches are the perfect companions to create a comfortable, functional dining room and work setting.
In line with RS Barcelona’s philosophy, the table can be customised with special finishes, colours and even logos, making You and Me a special, unique item..
Table tops in black and white (also for outdoor use) or choose for a more luxury wood veneer in oak or walnut
When not in use, all the sporting elements – the net, the paddles and the balls – are stored in a discreet side drawer, completely out of sight. And the table is ready for other uses.
Spotlight: Folk Chair - Pedrali
Folk collection accentuates the quest for simplicity and durability. Consisting of only 7 elements this chair can be repaired in a minute. Modular and sustainable - we think it is brilliant.
The die-casted aluminium ring allows for easy repair and additional strength. It even creates a nice design feature by chosing a contrasting color on the chair.
Built from solid ash wood - the aluminium ring holds the seat and backshell, which allows visual lightness and maximum durability. The bent plywood backrest ensures maximum comfort.
Cane material is back again, you see it in seat and backshells. Often we see quality problems in highly trafficked areas. Sagging seats and even holes. Pedrali has woven in a nylon yarn
With a weight of only 4,4 kg this is an ultra strong and lightweight chair.

CTO lighting invited all their agents to come to Birmingham i October to see their new factory. 2 days of socializing, learning and seeing how the organisation has grown. Experience the new collections Hepworth and Torres that have were launched.

The Bull Ring is a shopping mall and has been an important feature of Birmingham since the Middle Ages, when its market was first held. Two shopping centres have been built in the area; in the 1960s, and then in 2003; the latter is styled as one word, Bullring

EVENTS: Study trip Pedrali
October kicked off with a group 7 architects from Stockholm for a "studieresa" to Spain, visiting brands Pedrali in Bergamo. On this 2 day trip we had the joy to travel with Tengbom, DAP and Visual Motor.
On location we visited their HQ and production, met the people behind the brand and the family Pedrali. A splendid trip, we hop to see you soon again Anna, Jenny, Nadia, Katya, Claes, Thomas and Robert.

The created a beautiful Pavilion to celebrate the festivities. Erected from wood and designed by Michelle de Lucchi founder AMD Circle this will move later in 2024 to a new location. Pedrali created the theme around ‘We design a better future’ . As Pedrali states it themselves: An Anniversary is an appointment with one’s own hostory
NEW: Diabla season 2024
DIABLA is known for its connection to culture and art. This year it proposes an immersion in the golden years of cinema to reclaim its valuable architectural heritage. A journey through dream temples that, around film premieres and screenings, generated a rich social life in a combination of fantasy and emotions.
Captured in true DIABLA style, these surprising and unique outdoor scenes are dressed up with their new furniture pieces. The carefully curated fabrics create an very cool vibe!
NEW Fabrics
From Reviva, an Italian company specializing in the production of PET fabrics from recycled plastic containers, they present captivating weaves and design patterns.
In addition, Alejandra Gandía-Blasco has created, in collaboration with a musicologist, a series of fabrics inspired by the harlequins of the Commedia dell'Arte.

Acoustic solutions that are not only beautiful and functional, but also environmentally friendly.
Concrete ceilings are a trend. Grid ceilings disappaer to give spaces a modern feel. By doing this other problems come back. Arki is of the meaning 'praising' - an accurate name we thin. The Arki family caters to all areas of working and lounging you decided it purpose. It’s diversity deserves makes this product relevant in todays world.
Arki conference tables are extremely price competitive and sizes go up to 360cm made out of 1 piece. See also the royal leg clearance under the table. Nobody needs to egt out of the way.
The aluminium extruded forms the base base of all tables.

NEW: Giro by MUT design
SPIROGRAPH
The collection designed by @mut_design, GIRO, the circles…circles and more circles create this spirographic design. It bring us back to the 80’s we created our own designs with the famous plastic discs twirling your coloured pens around.
Thanks to a slight variation in their shapes, generate the optical illusion of a tube rolled up on itself. lts meandering textures and reliefs result in designs with movement that add a playful touch.
GIRO rugs are handmade with virgin wool using the hand-tufting technique.
