NEW: RS Barcelona shuffleboard
Shuffleboard tables give you a challenge in the distance, with only the path separating you and your desire to win. The precision of your shot connects the departure point and destination: to play. Reach the limits.
RS Barcelona shuffleboards steer away from the bulky designs. This is a design piece that wonderfully works together with the other RS Barcelona family members such as the RS foosball tables and pingpong tables.
The shuffleboard table has always been characterised by a long, imposing wooden play area that gives it real presence. The RS Barcelona shuffleboard tables breaks with convential wood by using metal, a raw material that’s part of the DNA of the RS Barcelona brand. Rather than a heavy block of solid wood, these shuffleboards are fitted with a 0.06 in thick steel sheet.
Available in two sizes 366 and 275cm and a variety of 6 different colors. Remeber it’s not how big you are. It’s how big you play.
Spotlight: Omma Leave of light
LZF always surprises with their new creative design collaborations. This year they didn’t disappoint either with Omma. Omma is an inventive piece of lighting, combining wood veneer with a metal structure to create three-dimensional leaves of light.
The Omma suspension lamp is available with two leaves, three leaves, and double-two leaves. In Eli Gutierrez’s striking design, each individual leaf rotates up to 180º, allowing the user to create a range of lighting moods.
The family consists even of wall, floor standing and desk lamps.

Spotlight: Frank table - design Robin Rizzini (Pedrali)
This year Pedrali celebrates it’s 60th anniversary. We will report on this specific moment later in August. Todays spotlight is focusing on FRANK the new table family of Pedrali. A design by Robin Rizzini, what immediately catches the attention are the two curved base elements made out of cast aluminium. This is the foundation of the the table that is available in 3 sizes. All made out of 1 piece glass, 19mm thick MDF or 10mm thick solid core laminate.
Frank is available in a 3600cm long table that seats 10 people with a approximately. A 3000cm long table for a 8 people and a 2400cm table for 6-8 people depending on the purpose and use of chair.
Frank is a statement piece for your boardroom and meeting spaces and it will make a lasting impression to your visitors. On the color palette there are choices off glossy finishes as well as mat tones to personalize this to your desired design. Did we already say the table happens to be carry the name of the founder of Plank-ton as well. Very Frank!
NEW: Pedrali in Plank-ton portfolio
Plank-ton has signed an collaboration agreement with Pedrali for architetcs and customers in Stockholm.
Know by many in the design and interior industry is Pedrali, the brand that brings solutions to so many different needs. Unique is the capacity to have all 3 disciplines of production under their wings, from wood to plastic as well as metal products. Add to this the vast depth the collection has to offer playing well in so many price levels.
We believe that with Pedrali we have a very strong partner to create wonderful new projects. Where sustainability is always at the very top and the designs are first class.

EVENTS: RS BARCELONA @ Salone
RS BArcelona @ Salone Milano, Fairground rho.
This is the post corona brand from the office. The playfulness, quality and versatility of their products is present everywhere whether it is in or outdoors. On this years Salone they launched 2 new products.
CREWSTAND is a mobile seating arrangement with an integrated bar on the rearside. The seating arrangement is two-tiered for informal meetings, mingles or presentations. Create your mini sports stadium where you challenge colleagues for a healthy competition! Crew is the perfect seat from which to watch the match and cheer on your team.
SHUFFLEBOARD follows the same esthetic as the RS Foosball table - this fun game can be don anywhere at anytime. Choose out of 2 sizes: 275 or 366cm and add a glass table top for better interaction and socializing.

LZF @ EUROLUCE - Salone Milano, Fairground rho.
LZF is always one of those brands that triggers the senses, their photography are pieces of artwork and their creativity is one that never seems to stop. They have a whole bunch of new products, our favorite is the Osca light a cubistic aesthestic reminds us most of the art deco in the 1920’s .
In this green oasis, the acoustics worked together with their new light object all displayed with the playlist of Sandro himself. It emerced yourself i a little new world on the busy tradeshow floors.
As a little bonus some of the product designers where there as well, we took the opportunity to speak to Elli Guterrez on her inspiration for the Omma lamp. See the video lower down.

EVENTS: Orgatec 2022 rearview
From October 25 to October 29th 2022 Orgatec
A Buzzi 3 days of tradeshow, schnitzel und Kölsch brought us back to 2022, we think the trade show is alive. The quality of visitors was high according to the exhibitors, perhaps smaller but still big enough. Wether the size is sustainable long term is to been seen. Rumour goes that it might merge with IMM… We highlight the 4 brands in our portfolio, let’s get started.
RS Barcelona displayed their new staged seating arrangement, like you sit in a football stadium. A nice add on in their portfolio, that can be used with or without their gaming products.
In 2023 we will hopefully see the shuffleboard come to life!

EVENTS: Light Building Frankfurt
From October 2nd to October 6th 2022 Light & Building is taking place again in Frankfurt.
Plank-ton is represented with LZF Lighting.
LZF (C.80, Hall 3.1) will be showing their new Omma, Estela and Kasa ranges.
LZF LEAVES OF LIGHT
Omma is an inventive lamp, like a tree with fluttering leaves full of light. In Eli Gutierrez’s prepossessing design, it is almost possible to imagine the lamp’s movable wood veneer, artfully edged with metal, flapping in a gentle breeze. Omma is available as a suspension lamp (with one, two, three, and four leaves), a table lamp (with either one or two leaves), a floor lamp (with a single leaf), and a wall lamp (with a single leaf). Individual leaves will rotate up to 180º, allowing the user to create a range of lighting moods.
EVENTS: Study trip Spain
September kicked off with a group five architects from Stockholm, Malmö and Jönköping for a "studieresa" to Spain, visiting brands RS Barcelona , Gandia Blasco / GAN rugs, LZF
We visited their showroom and production, met the people behind the brands and got hands-on with the fantastic craftsmanship.

RS Barcelona: ...all the football players are handpainted by an artisan named Ella. They can be customized to be as diverse as we are, with a range of physical characteristics, including male, female and non binary players.
GAN RUGS: ...has worked with 2 Swedish designers for their Collection. Front Design the Parquet collection, Carla von Zweigbergk recently launched Crochet based on the old technique of crochet
LZF: ...you can choose from 12 wood veneer finishes to mix & match it to your taste. Their Koi lamp is a whopping 3,25 long and weighs 33kg on the bone - soon to been seen in Stockholm!
